Brand: Ankalia Textiles, Elements Line
Tester: Jacinta Gartner
Wrapee: Heidi, 6 months, 5kg
Icarus Aurora fell into my lap a short while ago. 4.6m of soft, muted purple tones that would complement any season.
A medium to heavy weight, Aurora needed a little more taming. But with the right stretch and that delicious Icarus weave giving it a strong but relatively thin feel, I could tell once complete it will make a great all cotton wrap in any size.
We played with a number of carries and tie offs, the star being a DHCCCB. Aurora glides swiftly into place and has that great stretch I've come to know of Ankalia wraps. It held firm for our wander to the school gates and until we returned home again.
After a day of playing in the garden, Aurora will be easy to care for, a simple wash and a tumble dry if you so desire.
Like a shooting star, Aurora was gone too soon. I'll be watching the sun in anticipation, waiting for this one to fall again.
Icarus Aurora will be available to own, two ways. The draw to purchase opens on the 26th of August, and the web stocking will happen on the 29th of August at 2pm AEST. Visit www.ankalia.com.au for more details
